Invisalign in Orange, CA

We’re proud to offer Invisalign at Orange Premier Dental, and we love seeing how it can help our patients live happier lives.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a tooth-straightening technology that employs a series of clear plastic aligner trays that discreetly fit over the teeth. Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible to other people.

Made from a durable, flexible, and advanced thermoplastic material, Invisalign aligners are meant to be worn for 22 hours a day. This means patients can take them out during a meal, photoshoot, date, or other important events.

How Invisalign Works

The Invisalign system uses a series of aligners to straighten teeth. When you get Invisalign here at Orange Premier Dental, our first step is to take an impression of your teeth and gums. This process allows us to create a customized series of aligners in our dental lab.

Patients wear each aligner for about two weeks before switching that aligner out for the next one in the series. Over a period of months, the aligners exert gentle pressure on teeth, gently moving them into place without pain or pulling.

Treatment lasts an average of 12-18 months and results in a beautiful straight smile and improved dental health.

The Benefits of Invisalign

ClearCorrect Braces in Orange, CA

ClearCorrect braces are an alternative to both traditional braces and Invisalign.

What is ClearCorrect ?

Traditional braces rely on metal brackets, wires, and braces to force teeth into position. The result is an uncomfortable, bulky dental apparatus that is difficult to clean and painful to wear.

Fortunately, times have changed.

Today, the ClearCorrect braces solution uses a series of clear aligners to guide teeth into the proper position gently. Made from a clear and comfortable plastic composite—ClearCorrect braces look like a full retainer and are easier to wear and care for than traditional braces.

How Dentists Fit ClearCorrect

ClearCorrect braces are a highly personalized solution. That means each set of ClearCorrect aligners is formed to fit your teeth. When you visit our office for your ClearCorrect procedure, our team of dental hygienists will create an impression of your teeth and gums and send the impression off to the lab.

Once they receive the impressions, the lab will create a series of aligners to straighten your teeth. The aligners start with the current position of your teeth and adjust them slowly until they are perfectly straight.

As a patient, you receive all your aligners at the very beginning of the procedure, which means you won’t have to visit our Orange dentist office every time you need the next aligner in the series. This allows you to spend less time in the dental chair and more time living your life.

How ClearCorrect Aligners Work

Patients wear each aligner for about four to six weeks. When that period is up, the patient will replace the old aligner with the next one in the series.

The aligners gently place pressure on specific teeth to gradually move the teeth for a more comfortable experience.

ClearCorrect vs. Traditional Braces

How do ClearCorrect aligners stack up to traditional metal braces? Here’s what you need to know:

Speed. ClearCorrect treatment is faster than traditional braces. Patients wear each set of ClearCorrect aligners for two weeks, and average treatment usually takes about 20-24 sets of aligners. This means most ClearCorrect treatments are finished within a year to 18 months. In contrast, braces take at least 18 months to provide results and may need to be worn for up to three years.

Efficacy. ClearCorrect is an excellent option for patients who have minor or moderate orthodontic problems. It is not, however, an effective treatment for severe bite problems, misaligned teeth, or large gaps in the teeth. Traditional braces are a more effective treatment for severe orthodontic problems.

Comfort. Because ClearCorrect aligners are made from flexible, clear plastic, they’re much more comfortable to wear than traditional metal braces. They’re also easier to clean and sanitize than metal braces, which trap food and bacteria.

Your most beautiful smile is waiting!
